Buffalo Springs Campground sits at an elevation of 9,000 feet on a rolling hillside in the San Isabel National Forest, providing an ideal setting for biking, hiking, horseback riding and rock climbing. Visitors will enjoy spectacular mountain views from this campground. Outdoor recreation activities include backpacking, hiking, picnicking, photography, horseback riding, climbing and wildlife viewing. Volleyball courts and horseshoe pits are also provided at the campground. Horseshoe campground has 18 campsites, vault toilets and drinking water. Each campsite has a table and fire ring.
