Cape Blanco State Park features Cape Blanco lighthouse – the most southern of Oregon’s lights and is the westernmost point in Oregon (and the 48 states). It is also one of the windiest with gusts clocked at speeds as high as 184 mph, which makes it popular with the windsurfers. The park has over 8 miles of trails with many spectacular ocean vistas, woodland and wetland settings. It also is home to the historic Hugest house. The state park also has a 64-site campground, 4 cabins and 8 equestrian sites. Individual sites are first-come, first-serve. Although there are RV hookups, there are no dumpstations at the campground and/or State Park.
