Choinumni Park, named after the Choinumni Indian tribe, is located on the Kings River near Trimmer Springs in the western Sierra Nevada mountains. The park consists of 170 acres with a campground, picnic area, hiking trails and other facilities.
Choinumni Park campground is located right on the banks of the King's River in the Sierra Nevada foothills. The campground has 75 single-family campsites and set among a forest of oak and other trees. Most sites have good shade, and all sites have a table and fire ring. Camping is first-come, first serve, except for the group sites which can be reserved by calling 559 600-3004.

Choinumni Park is 33 miles east of Fresno on Pine Flat Road. Take Highway 180 east from downtown Fresno (Ventura Street) 17.5 miles to Piedra Road, turn left on Piedra Road and drive 8.2 miles to Trimmer Springs Road. Turn right on Trimmer Springs Road and drive one mile to Pine Flat Road. Turn right on Pine Flat Road for 100 yards to the entrance.
