Humbug Mountain State Park and campground are dominated by Humbug Mountain (elevation 1,756 feet) and surrounded by forested hills. The campground enjoys some of the warmest weather on the Oregon coast as the surrounding mountains offer protection from cool ocean breezes. Many visitors enjoy windsurfing and scuba diving. Hiking to the top of Humbug Mountain is also a popular activity.
Humbug Mountain State Park campground has 95 sites nestled in Humbug Canyon which offers microclimates and warmer weather. Humbug Mountain offers a 3-mile hiking trail to the summit, winding hikers into an Old Growth Forest along the face of 1,756 foot mountain.
