Johnson Branch is one of two campgrounds at Ray Roberts State Park. Ray Roberts State Park offers a variety of outdoor recreation including camping, hiking, biking, horseback riding, backpacking, boating, swimming, fishing and wildlife viewing. In addition to the campground, you can stay in a room at the Lantana Resort. The main attraction is the 29,000-acre Ray Roberts Lake, which is popular for fishing and water sports. The campground has 166 campsites (walk-in, equestrian, and 104 with electric hookups and water). Each campsite has a table, fire ring, grill and lantern post.
