Lower Pines campground offers 60 single-family campsites for tents or motor homes up to 30 feet long. Although the campsites are numbered all the way to 89, some were washed away when the Merced flooded a few years back and there are no plans to rebuild those campsites. Fireplaces and picnic tables are provided. Piped water, flush toilets and a sanitary disposal station are available. A grocery store, laundromat, propane gas, recycling center, and horse, raft, bike and cross-country ski rentals are available nearby. Pets are permitted on leashes in campground, but not on trails.
