Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park exposes you to some of the steepest cliffs, oldest rock, and craggiest spires in North America. With two million years to work, the Gunnison River, along with the forces of weathering, has sculpted this vertical wilderness of rock, water, and sky.
North Rim / Black Canyon of the Gunnison has 13 sites in a Pinyon-Juniper forest. The campground has vault toilets. Each campsite has a table, fire ring and grill. Water is available mid-May to mid-September. All campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis (no reservations).
