Roper Lake State Park is located about 155 miles northeast of Tucson and features 30-surface acres Lake Roper. Roper lake is regularly stocked with Rainbow Trout and Largemouth Bass. There is a boat ramp (limited to small electric and/or non motorized vessels). Visitors can also enjoy five miles of trails, bird watching, wildlife viewing, hiking, biking, a swimming beach, picnic area. Overnight facilities include the campground and cabins.
