Saddlebag Lake campground is located way up in the high-country at 10,000 feet in the Sierra Nevada mountain range next to Saddlebag Lake. Individual campsites are first-come, first-serve, but you can make group camping reservations. All of the campsites have beautiful views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The area offers fantastic fishing and hiking. Many species of wildlife call the mountains home, such as black bear, mountain lions, mule deer, pine marten, pika and numerous fish and birds. The campground is located about 2 hours from Yosemite National Park.
