South Cumberland State Park is located within 4 different Tennessee and encompasses roughly 25,000 acres of some of the best hiking and backcountry camping in the region. The park also has 12 primitive, walk-in campgrounds and one drive in campground (Foster Falls) with 26 campsites. The primitive (tent only) campgrounds include Father Adamz (8 campsites), Small Wild (6 campsites), CCC Camp (4 campsites), Savage Station (7 campsites), Stagecoach Road (9 campsites), dinky Line (4 campsites), Hobbs Cabin (7 campsites and 1 cabin), Collins West (5 campsites), Stone Door (14 campsites), Saw Mill (9 campsites) and Alum Gap (10 campsites). All also have group camping. Foster Falls campground has 26 spacious campsites set in a forest of tall trees. Each campsite has a parking pad, table, fire ring and grill. The campground has vault toilet and water.
