Tyler State Park features a cool, 64-acre spring-fed lake, 100-foot tall trees, and historic structures. Outdoor recreation activities include boating, fishing, swimming, biking, picnicking, camping, and wildlife viewing. The campground has 149 campsites (sites 78 to 107 are group camping sites). There are 18 full hookup sites, as well 39 water/electric and 37 water only. There are several waterfront sites in the campground. In addition there are cabins for rent. Each campsite has a table, fire ring and grill. The campground has flush toilets, hot showers, and a dump station.
