The campground is a single loop on the eastern shore of Clear
Lake. The east side of Clear Lake is hilly resulting in a
terraced campground and parallel style pull-through parking
aprons along the lake. Other pull-throughs, on the uphill side
of the loop, have a steep approach. A steady breeze off Clear
Lake helps keep mosquitoes at bay. A nice mixture of conifers,
including hemlock and Pacific Silver fir, provide ample shade.
Some rhododendron provide fair privacy. Firewood is available
for a fee.
