Nestled in the Cascade Mountains in the northern corner of the Cascade-Siskiyou National monument, the 745-acre Hyatt Lake Recreation Area provides opportunities for camping, hiking, fishing, and boating. Recreational Use Permits for camping and day-use are required and available on a first-come, first-served basis from the visitor contact station at the facility entrance and at the self-service pay stations located at main campground entrance and Wildcat Campground.

Hyatt Lake campground offers 54 single-family campsites and includes access to 2 boat ramps and dock facilities, a fish cleaning station, a sand volleyball court, a basketball practice court, horseshoe pits, and a children’s playground. Horseshoes, volleyballs, and basketballs are available for checkout/use at the Campground Administration building.

Directions:

From Interstate 5, take exit 14 in Ashland. Turn on Highway 66 toward Klamath Falls. Follow Hwy 66 for 17 miles until you reach the Green Springs Inn. Turn left onto the BLM's East Hyatt Lake Road. Follow this road for approximately 3 miles until you reach the Hyatt Lake Recreation Area. Stay to the right on the East Hyatt Lake Road, and the main campground entrance will be on the left about 100 yards from the intersection.
