The Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area Visitor Center, located beside the campground, offers educational programs and ranger-led hikes. It is open year-round, just like the campground, and provides great information on the cultural and geological history of the picturesque dunes. While famous for its OHV riding opportunities, the Oregon Dunes also offers many areas for those who are not OHV enthusiasts. Wheelchair accessible sites like Lagoon or Taylor Dune Trail and Oregon Dunes Day Use open the wonders of the Oregon Dunes to all forest visitors.
