If you’re thinking about doing some Nevada camping – we’ve recently added campsite photos for campgrounds in Nevada including Cathedral Gorge State Park, Cottonwood Cove and Kershaw-Ryan State Park. All three campgrounds are open year-round.

In addition to camping, you’ll find a variety of outdoor recreational activities in the area including: boating, fishing, water skiing, jet skiing, canoeing, kayaking, water sports, swimming, volleyball, shuffleboard, horseshoes, hiking, picnicking, and wildlife viewing.

Located in southeastern Nevada, Cathedral Gorge State Park is set in a spectacular canyon of geological features that are quite fun to explore. The Park includes 1,600 acres and 5 miles of hiking/walking trails that take you through the unique geological features of the park. The campground has 24 campsites that include electric hookups, a table, fire ring, and grill. Campsites 23 and 24 are ADA. The campground has drinking water, restrooms with flush toilets, hot showers, a picnic area, volleyball court, and a RV dump station. Firewood is also available for sale at the campground.

Cottonwood Cove Campground is a large desert campground on the Nevada side of Lake Mohave. There are 145 campsites that can accommodate tents, trailers, and RV’s. Each campsite has a picnic table, fire ring, and grill available. The campground has RV hookups, restrooms with flush toilets, showers, and laundry facility. This is a popular campground due to its location on Lake Mohave where you can enjoy boating, fishing, water sports, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, biking and hiking.

Kershaw-Ryan State Park Campground has 15 campsites situated in a canyon with towering walls up to 700 feet high. The campsites can accommodate tents, trailers, and RVs. Each campsite has a table, fire ring, and grill. There are no RV hookups here, but the campground does have drinking water, restrooms with flush toilets, hot showers, and a dump station. In addition, the park offers a great shaded picnic area with a large barbecue, children’s wading pool, a volleyball court, playground, and hiking trails.

Have a fun time camping in the Nevada desert – and remember to drink lots of water!
