Yosemite Reservations Are Required

Yosemite Reservations are required to enter Yosemite National Park from May 20 through September 30. The reservation fee is $2 and is good for day-use only if you plan to enter the park during peak hours (between 6am and 4pm). Day-use reservations are valid for 3 consecutive days. Those with lodging/camping reservations or backcountry permits do not need to purchase the day-use entry fee.

Reservations/Booking Opens Today (March 23)!

Day-use reservations must be purchased online at Recreation.gov. They will not be sold at the park.

In addition, beginning May 13th, an additional batch of reservations will be released on a rolling basis seven days in advance of arrival.

Camping Reservations & Availability Alerts

Yosemite campgrounds are already sold out throughout the summer. If you don’t have a camping reservation, you use our Campsite Assist tool and get an alert if/when a Yosemite campsite becomes available on the dates you want to camp. The alert (text & email) will include a link to try and reserve the site. If you get an alert, remember to click on the reservation link ASAP as others may beat you to it!
