This week, Summer of Campgrounds offers 4 new campgrounds in Utah. Fruita Campground, described as an oasis within the desert, is part of Capitol Reef National Park, and sits adjacent to the Fremont River and is surrounded by historic orchards. Calf Creek Campground is loaded with facilities, and is located close to the interpretive trail to the 126-foot Lower Calf Creek Falls. Escalante Petrified Forest Campground features colorful deposits of mineralized wood and dinosaur bones, nice facilities, and easy access to OHV riding areas. Deer Creek State Park Campground is a great place for any geologists, paleontologists, archeologists, historians, and biologists in scientific research, education, and exploration. Take a look!

Happy Camping!
