We’re in the process of forming a camping club and was wondering if we could book spaces 39,40,41 or 38,39,40 for October 12-14?

  2. Singletaty says:

Do you rent fishing boats or kiyaks.

We have not been able to camp for several years because of family health problems.
When we searched before .. we were able to see how available campsites were located on a map and reserve, but are having trouble today navigating the site.

    • Hi Mary,
If you click on the ‘Make A Reservation’ button, you’ll be directed to the Recreation.gov site. From there you can enter the dates you’d like to camp and then check availability, pricing and make reservations at White Oak Creek Park campground. Reservations are on a 6-month rolling window. For example, if you’d like to begin your stay on July 1, then the first day you could have made reservations was on January 1. Generally popular campgrounds will sell out quickly – sometimes on the first day that reservations become available.

I found this campground on our way to our final destination campground, as we just spent the night. The cost was $24.00 dollars. It was starting to get dark when we got here. I only have two issues. The camp sites are not numbered well. We had a hard time finding the numbers on each site, to locate ours. Then my wife tells me that when she checked us in, that the guy at the desk, told her that the gates close at 10pm, and NO ONE is allowed to leave the park or come in. Being an ex LEO, I found this very strange and constitutional. How can they lock us up at night and restrict our movement. So bewear of this.

  5. Had a wonderful time here this past Christmas at site 41 right on the water. Great campground and town close by. Even though the gate closed at 10pm it worked out well with us and we had no problems. Camp host were wonderful and would stop by and chat. Can’t wait to go back again.

  6. Ken Burnham says:

Have stayed at this facility and other USACE campgrounds on The lake and we could not recommend a better facility to visit. Well maintained grounds , clean latrines and level ,spacious sites. Looking forward to your reopening.

  7. I AM TRYING TO CONTACT THE GATE ON THEIR PHONE 3346873101 AND IT IS CONSTANTLY BUSY. IS SOMETHING GOING ON WITH THE PHONE OR IS THERE ANOTHER NUMBER.
    THANKS,
    TOMMY

  8. Are there alligators?

  9. Franklin says:

Worst camp ground I have ever stayed. Can’t eat outside because of the fly’s and ant’s. Now I spending the night clean my trailer because ant’s are all in the inside of my trailer. Had to throw out a lot of food. They are also in my vehicle.

  10. Does lot 63 have a sea wall? We have the lot reserved for the 1st of November

  11. rebecca Aguon says:

    Do you rent cabins?

  12. Miranda Parker says:

I love this place. We come every year and the sites are nice, the people are nice, and it is peaceful
