Forked Pine Campground Coconino National Forest Recreation Arizona

Forest Road 82E.
Flagstaff, Arizona
928 527-3600

Forked Pine Campground is located on the eastern shores of Ashurst Lake in the Coconino National Forest in a remote area of Northern Arizona. Forked Pine Campground has about 25 campsites scattered along the shoreline. The campsites are not numbered and are mostly good for tent/car camping. A few will work for small RVs and trailers.

Each campsite has a table and fire ring. Drinking water is available in large tanks and there are also vault toilets. There is also a boat ramp for small boats. The campground is open year round – weather/road conditions permitting. Cell service is not available.

The area is remote and beautiful, offering great views of the San Francisco mountains. Fishing at the lake is usually excellent when it isn’t too windy. Other outdoor activities include board sailing, OHV riding, horseback riding, hunting, hiking, mountain biking and wildlife viewing.

Other campgrounds in the area include Ashurst Lake, Pine Grove and Lakeview (Lake Mary).
