    • Hi Ed and Liz,
Rolfe C. Hoyer campground is open!

      • I heard there in no tent camping? We have reserved for 7/3 and want to make sure we are okay?

      • Hi Belit,
Due to Covid-19 restrictions that have the water turned off and the restrooms closed until at least June 18. As a result, tent camping is not permitted. They will revisit the situation on June 18/19 and update whether tent camping is allowed or not. You can check the status by clicking HERE.

  2. I made a reservation for site 31 starting 6/3 for one week because I saw that the campground can handle an rv up to 45 feet. We have a 40 foot motor home. Now I see on other sites that the max is 32 feet. Can I get my motor home into site 31?

  3. I have been waiting for over 20 minutes to reset my password. Why does it take so long? I need to make reservations I don’t want to miss out on the time I want.

    • Hi Charlott,

Your password reset will come from Recreation.gov. They handle the reservations for Rolfe C. Hoyer campground. You may try checking your spam or junk folders.

I am trying to find out if the water and restrooms have been opened now. I couldn’t find any information on that. Thank you.

We are camping 7/9-7/12 on sites 19 and 21. I thought they were next to each other but the map looks like 20 is in between. Is there anyway to switch either spot so that our spots can be next to each other? Thanks!!

  6. Is tent camping allowed now? Does anyone have a tent site recommendation that’s somewhat private and on the edge? I would like to reserve but prefer to not have a big rv near me.

HI We’re interested in camping in the Greer area about SEpt. 16 or about 10 days. We have a 30 foot 5th wheel. Will you be open then? If you are first come first serve, do we have a chance of getting in?
    Thnx, Pam

    • Hi Pamela,
Yes, Rolfe C. Hoyer campground is and will be open September 16 through October 31. All campsites are available on a first-come first-serve basis after Labaor Day. You should have no problem finding a campsite with a September 16 (Wednesday) arrival. Have fun!

Are the showers open at Hoyer. On one of the websites there was a $ beside the showers. Is there now a charge for using the shower?
