Schoolhouse campground has 41 campsites and is located next to Theodore Roosevelt Lake in central Arizona.   Odd numbered campsites are reservable and even numbered campsites are first-come, first-serve.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. any of the sites have nice lake views. Each site also has a shade ramada, fire ring, grill and picnic table.

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers ($) and a dump station. There’s also a boat ramp, playground and picnic area. Firewood is also available for sale from the camp host. Cell service is fair.

Schoolhouse – Area Recreation

Primary outdoor recreation includes fishing, boating, canoeing, kayaking, water sports, swimming, hiking, biking, OTV riding, horseback riding and picnicking.

You may also be interested in Windy Hill campground. It is also located next to Theodore Roosevelt Lake.
