Acorn campground has 128 large campsites and is located on the shores of New Hogan Lake in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. It gets quite hot out here, but most campsites have some decent shade from large trees.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. Two Each site allows up to 2 vehicles and 8 people per site. Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets and a dump station. There’s also an amphitheater and boat ramp located near the campground. Cell service is fair.

Acorn – Area Recreation

New Hogan Lake offers a variety of water sports including boating, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, water skiing, jet skiing, paddle-boarding, windsurfing and swimming. Other activities include biking, hiking, hunting and wildlife viewing.
