For $150 per night, you too can sleep next to human feces. It’s a beautiful campsite, the problem is the toilet there is full and has not been pumped. Campers have taken it upon themself to make their own restrooms, all over the campsite itself. Poop pits, toilet paper, poop on toilet paper- you name it. Not only that but there were strangers who pulled up early one morning to meander around without acknowledging us which was a little unnerving given the fact that this campsite is the furthest group site out there on it’s own trail. Though the area is nice, we now refer to this campsite as the “poop pits” and won’t be returning.
