Buckeye – Area Recreation

Outdoor activities include fishing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Buckeye Hot Springs is also just a few miles east from the campground and is a nice place to soak with ‘open-minded’ folks. Some hiking trails to check out include along the creek into the nearby Hoover Wilderness.  Also hiking along Eagle creek to the flanks of Eagle Mountain is nice.

Other campgrounds in the area (about 5 miles down the hill) include Honeymoon Flat,  Robinson Creek and PaHa.
