Crane Flat Campground in Yosemite National Park  has 166 campsites for RVs, trailers and tents.  The campground is about 17 miles from Yosemite Valley. Many of the campsites are uneven so make sure you check out our photos of each campsite. Maximum RV length is 35 feet and 27 feet for trailers. There are no hookups at this campground.

Crane Flat Campground is set up in 5 loops among a beautiful forest of Sugar Pine, Red Fir and Lodgepole Pine. Each loop has restrooms (flush toilets) and drinking water. The campsites also have a table, fire ring, grill and food storage locker.

Up to 2 motor vehicles are allowed per campsite (trailers don’t count as a vehicle). All vehicle’s wheels must be on the paved parking surface. Overflow parking is also available near most campgrounds.

The campground is a good location for jumping down to Yosemite Valley (about 17 miles) or up to Tuolumne Meadows (about 20 miles). A gas station and general store are also located nearby.

World famous Yosemite National Park offers spectacular scenery and amazing outdoor recreation including hiking, biking, kayaking, photography, climbing, horseback riding, nature exhibits, museums, camping and wildlife viewing.
