Diaz Lake Campground is located 3 miles south of Lone Pine and has approximately 132 campsites situated next to the lake with views of the Alabama Hills.

There are about 100 single-family campsites for tents, trailers and RVs, 15 tent-only campsites and 2 group (Buttermilk and Alabama Hills) areas that have about 20 campsites. Several of the campsites are also water front and most have a table, fire ring and grill.

Amenities include vault toilets, limited water spigots, a boat ramp, playground and picnic area. A fishing deck is also located near the boat launch ramp.

Diaz Lake – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation includes swimming, fishing, boating, paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing, jet skiing, water skiing, picnicking and wildlife viewing. The lake is open year round for non-motorized watercraft and open mid May through October for motorized watercraft.
