Ellery Camp Overview

Ellery Camp is a first-come, first-serve campground situated at the top of Tioga pass (9,500 feet) next to the east entrance of Yosemite National Park. Ellery Camp overlooks Lee Vining Creek and is very close to Ellery Lake, There are 14 campsites and they can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 30-feet). The campground has drinking water and 2 vault toilets. Each campsite has a table, food storage locker, fire ring and grate. Campsite roads and parking spurs are also paved. There are no showers available or electric/water hookups for trailers. All sites at this campground can accommodate small trailers as well as tents.
The area offers great fishing, backpacking, hiking, picnicking, biking and wildlife viewing.
Other nice campgrounds in the area include Moraine, Big Bend, Aspen (Aspen Grove), Junction, Saddlebag Lake and Tioga Lake.
