Fir Cove Campground has 19 delightful campsites and is located on the eastern shore of Ruth Lake in Six Rivers National Forest.

The campground offers several tent-only and multiple combined sites, many of them overlooking the lake. All sites are within a short walk from Ruth Lake. Sites 11 and 12 are companion sites. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill. Amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection.  Cell service is not available in the area.

Bailey Canyon (first-come, first-serve) campground is next door, Mad River Campground is 5 miles away, and there are a few other campgrounds situated around Ruth Lake.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, fishing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, water sports, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
