Mountain Oak Campground has 17 single-family campsites in a nice forest of large pine trees. The campground is open mid-May to mid-November.  It is also close to Jackson Lake and many hiking trails in the San Gabriel Mountains.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a parking spur (ranging in size from 24 to 38 feet), table, fire ring and grill. Amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. Cell service is fair in the area.  The campground is also close to Wrightwood (about 5 miles) should you need any supplies.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes: swimming, boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing biking, hiking, horseback riding, stargazing, wildlife viewing and picnicking.

Other campground options in the area include Lake, Table MountainPeavine and Apple Tree.
