Palisade campground has 5 group sites and is an overflow group camp located along Rock Creek in the Inyo National Forest. The campground has nice shade from Aspen and Lodgepole pines. It is available for groups of less than 25 people. Drinking water and vault toilets are available. The group sites also have a table, fire ring, grate and food storage locker.

The campground is also across the street from Rock Creek Sno-Park and in the vicinity of other campgrounds. Cell service is not available in the area.

Palisade – Area Recreation

Recreational activities include fishing, hiking, backpacking, picnicking and stargazing. The area is also home to abundant wildlife, including black bear, mountain lions, mule deer and many species of birds.

Other campgrounds in the area include Big Meadow, Iris MeadowPine Grove, East Fork, Upper Pine Grove and Rock Creek Lake. Rock Creek Lakes Resort is also nearby.
