Plumas Eureka State Park (Upper Jamison Creek) Campground has 70 campsites and the campground is fully paved. Group camping is also available.  A few sites (55, 56 and 57) are tent only.  Campsites 6-22 are RV friendly and newer (site 11 is awesome). The sites on the other side of the creek (26-70) are smaller and not quite so level.

Campsites can accommodate trailers up to 24 feet and RVs/motorhomes up to 28 feet. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring/grill and food storage locker.  The campground has flush toilets, showers, drinking water and a dump station.

Plumas Eureka State Park – Area Recreation

Plumas Eureka State Park offers visitors a look into the gold mining days of California. There’s a visitor center, museum and other historic buildings to explore including the historic mining area.  Outdoor recreation includes camping, fishing, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. You can also enjoy some winter recreation including cross-country skiing.

Other campgrounds in the area include Lakes Basin, Chapman Creek, Salmon Creek and Sardine Lake.

    When can I start trying to get a spot for 4th of July 2022.

    • You can first try and reserve a campsite for a July 4, 2022 arrival on January 4, 2022 at 8:00AM PST. Best of luck!

        The campsites at Plumas Eureka State Park can accommodate trailers up to 24 feet and RVs/motorhomes up to 28 feet. There may be a few that can fit longer. You can click on the “Make A Reservation” button to check availability, sizes, pricing and make reservations.
