Pyramid Lake Los Alamos Campground (elevation 2,600 feet) is located a few miles from Pyramid Lake in the hills above Santa Clarita Valley and has 93 campsites for tents, trailers and RVs. Three of the campsites are for group camping. There are no hookups here. There is limited shade, but most of the campsites offer nice views of the valley. Each campsite has a table, fire ring and grill.. The campground has drinking water, a dump station, fish cleaning stations, a picnic area and volleyball courts.  Pyramid Lake also has a boat ramp and general store.

Pyramid Lake Los Alamos – Area Recreation

Los Alamos Campground is located 90 minutes from Los Angeles at the base of the mountains and just a few miles from scenic Pyramid Lake. Pyramid Lake offers a variety of water sports including boating, water skiing, jet skiing, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, sailing and swimming. You can also enjoy OHVing, biking, hiking, horseback riding, wildflower and wildlife viewing.

Castaic Lake campground is also an option. It’s about 32 miles to the south via highway 5 and has 65 campsites.
