One of the best parks I’ve been to. Hope the fire doesn’t destroy it.

Samuel P. Taylor is a gem! Conveniet to get to and filled with beautiful redwoods and trails. Some sites are quite small. In the Creekside Campground, site 7 is amazing! However, the traffic from the road is noticeable. Therefore, I might prefer the Orchard Loop in the future (stayed there twice but don’t remember what the best sites were). I love it for a last-minute getaway to escape the valley heat!
