Upper Stony Creek campground has 23 single-family campsites (17 reservable) and is located about 14 miles southeast of Grant Grove in Kings Canyon National Park.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Some sites only have single-car spurs. Each campsite also has a table, food locker, fire ring and grate.

Campground amenities include drinking water and vault toilets. Cell service is not available in the area. There’s also a picnic area nearby. Public showers, groceries, a restaurant and gasoline are also available about 1/2 mile away at the Stony Creek Resort.

Upper Stony Creek – Area Recreation

Hiking into the Jennie Lakes Wilderness and mountain biking outside the wilderness area are popular. Other activities include fishing, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
