Willow Campground has 8 first-come, first-serve (primitive) campsites along the banks of the South Fork of Bishop Creek. Sites are shaded by pretty aspen trees at an elevation of about 9,000 feet. There are also some mighty fine fishing holes close to the campground.
The campground is usually open late May to mid-September. Amenities include a vault toilet and trash collection. Piped water is not available. Each site also has a table, food storage locker, fire pit and grill. Trailers and RVs not recommended.
Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, backpacking, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
