Chambers Lake Campground has 51 campsites (7 are walk-to). It is located next to the lake at an elevation of 9,200 feet in the Roosevelt National Forest. It’s also about 60 miles northwest of Fort Collins, CO.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (20 to 45 feet). Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill. Lodgepole pines provide good shade to most campsites. Single sites can have up to 8 people and double sites can accommodate 16 people.

Campground amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. Firewood is also available to purchase from the friendly camp host. A boat ramp is also nearby, but may be unusable in late summer due to drop in water level.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, boating, kayaking, paddle-boarding, hiking, mountain biking, OHV trail riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Other campgrounds in the area include Aspenglen and Timber Creek in Rocky Mountain National Park, Bellaire Lake, Jacks Gulch and West Lake. Others in the area also include Big South, Skyline, Tunnel, Long Draw, Ranger Lakes, Grandview and The Crags.
