Lottis Creek Campground Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Fore Colorado

Lottis Creek Campground has 50 campsites (38 with electric) situated along the creek and close to Taylor River at an elevation of 8,997 feet. The Fossil Ridge Wilderness are is also a few miles to the south.

The campground is generally open early June to late September. There are 25 reservable campsites and 25 that are first-come, first-serve. Group camping is also available. Four of the campsites are ADA.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate.  Amenities include potable (drinking) water and 4 vault toilets. Firewood is also available for purchase from the camp host.

Other campgrounds in the area include North Bank, Rosy Lane, One Mile, Lodgepole, Almont and Lakeview.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, ATVing, picnicking, hunting, horseback riding and wildlife viewing. You can also kayak the river during good water flow.
