Molly Brown Campground has 49 campsites and is located on the eastern shore of beautiful Turquoise Lake. Named after the “unsinkable” Molly Brown of Titanic fame, the campground is set in a shaded lodgepole pine forest at 9,900 feet in elevation.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. All campsites are reservation only. Check in time is 2pm and check out is 12pm.  You can have up to 2 vehicles, 2 tents and 8 vehicles per site.

Amenities include potable (drinking) water and vault toilets. Firewood is also available for purchase from the camp host. Cell service is fair in the area.

Molly Brown – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, fishing, water sports, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, hunting, OHV trail riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing. A boat ramp is also available over at Tabor campground.

The 1.2-mile Turquoise Lake Nature Trail also runs by the campground. This trail connects to the 6.4 mile Turquoise Lake Trail that parallels the shoreline from the dam to May Queen Campground.

Other campgrounds in the area include Baby Doe, May Queen, Tabor, Father Dyer, Printer Boy, Belle of Colorado, Silver Dollar, Matchless and Sugar Loafin’.
