Mount Princeton Campground has 17 single-family campsites and is located next to Chalk Creek in Central Colorado. It is also just 4 miles from a private hot springs resort.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs.  Sites are large and parking areas range from 25 to 48 feet. Up to 8 people, 2 tents and 2 vehicles (or 1 recreation vehicle) are allowed per site.Campsites 14-17 are “walk-to” and are first come, first serve. All other sites are reservable.

Campground amenities include potable (drinking water) from hand pump and vault toilets (2). Firewood is also available for purchase from the camp host. Cell service is fair in the area.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, hiking, backpacking, OHVing, mountain biking, horseback riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Other campgrounds in the area include Cascade, Chalk Lake and Iron City.
