Pawnee Campground has 47 single-family campsites (including 8 walk-to sites) and is located near Brainard Lake, at the foot of the Continental Divide.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Most sites are large and have nice privacy for the mature spruce-fir forest. Several campsites are available on a first-come, first-serve basis (including the 8 walk-to sites). FCFS campsites are popular and fill up by Thursday afternoon (through the weekend). Each campsite also has a table, food storage locker, fire ring and grate.

Campground amenities include drinking water and vault toilets. Firewood is also available for sale from the camp host. Cell service is not available in the area.

Pawnee – Area Recreation
