Seedhouse Campground has 24 campsites (15 reservable) and is located near the Middle Fork of the Elk River in the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest. The large campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. There are also 3 group sites available.

The campground is usually open late June to early October. Amenities include potable water (two hand pumps) and vault toilets. A camp host also sells firewood. Cell service is not available.

Seedhouse – Area Recreation

This high-country campground is a great basecamp to enjoy hiking, mountain biking, fishing, horseback riding, hunting, picnicking and wildlife viewing. There’s also some nice off-road vehicles trails in the area. The nearby Middle Fork of the Elk River also has good kayaking.

Other campgrounds in the area include Hinman Park and Hahns Peak Lake.
