South Meadows Campground has 64 single-family campsites and is located near Trout Creek, just off Highway 67 in the Pike-San Isabel National Forest.

The campground is usually open late April through late October. Check-in time is 2pm and check-out time is 12pm. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill.

Campground amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. Firewood is also available for sale from the camp house. Cell service is poor in the area.

Area Recreation & Activities

South Meadows Campground is adjacent to the Centennial Trail which is a paved multi-use trail between Manitou Lake and the town of Woodland. Other activities include fishing, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Other campgrounds in the area include Colorado Campground, Painted Rocks Campground, and Red Rocks Group Campground.
