Cape Henlopen State Park Campground has 163 campsites and 12 cabins. the park is located where the Delaware Bay meets the Atlantic Ocean. There are 120 with hookups and 43 tent only (21 are walk-to). Camping spurs range in size from 15 to 45 feet, with most in the 35 foot range. There are also a few 100-foot pull through sites.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. ADA accessible sites include B19,C13, C15, C18, D01,E07, E15, F01. Group sites are G1-22.
Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, showers, laundry facilities, trash collection and a dump station. There’s also a playground, camp store, bait & tackle shop, overflow parking, amphitheater and overflow parking. Firewood is also available for purchase from the camp host.
Outdoor recreation in the area includes swimming, fishing, kayaking, disc golf, horseback riding, biking, hiking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. You can also explore historic WWII structures.

If sold out on the dates you want to camp you can sign up to get campsite availability alerts by clicking on the ‘Create Campsite Availability Alert’ button. If a campsite becomes available you will get a text and email alert that includes a link to try and reserve the campsite. We recommend you click on the reservation link ASAP as others are probably monitoring for availability and may beat you to the campsite.
