We are coming to camp ground on the 8th of Jan didn’t know if you could tell us what the number our campground is Debbie n Kevin McKay

    • Hi Debbie,
CampsitePhotos.com is not affiliated with any of the campgrounds on our site. We do provide a link (the ‘Make A Reservation’ button) on the St Joseph Peninsula State Park campground page where you can check availability and make a reservation. If you already made a reservation you should have received a confirmation (email) with your campsite # – unless they assign the campsites at check in. You can try calling Reserve America (800 444-7275) to check, or maybe try the Park directly at: (850) 227-1327.

  2. Shirley Adams says:

I have relatives staying in your campground this week and I plan to visit them this weekend is there a charge for me to come and if so ho much for Friday night to Sunday when we would all leave.

    • Hi Shirley,
Generally there is a maximum # of people (8) and vehicles (2) permitted in each campsite. If (counting you) there are 8 or less, there won’t be a charge. As for your vehicle – you should contact St Joseph Peninsula State Park directly to ask about overflow parking and if there is a charge for your vehicle. You can call the Park at:850 277-1327

  3. Stephanie Varnes says:

What months are best for camping if we’re trying to avoid heat and biting insects?

    • Hi Stephanie,
Florida has a pretty mild/tropical climate, but the winter months are the best to avoid the heat and biting insects. Fall can be an okay time to visit as well (October/November), but there still may be some biting bugs. Florida mosquito species are most active in the spring and summer months, when the temps get warmer and more tropical.
