A. H. Stephens State Park is best known for its equestrian facilities and campsites, but it also has campsites for tents/trailers and RVs, as well as 4 cottages and group camping. Electric hookups are available. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grill.

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers ($), laundry facilities and a sanitary dump station.

A. H. Stephens State Park – Area Recreation

You’ll enjoy a nice variety of outdoor activities available including boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, paddle boating, geocaching, hiking, biking, horseback riding, horseshoes, volleyball, wildlife viewing and camping. Bike and boat rentals are also available. There is also an 18-hole golf course at the park – so bring your clubs!

The home of A. H. Stephens is also on the property as well as a Confederate Museum with one of the best collections of Civil War artifacts in Georgia.

Hamburg State Park is about 35 miles to the south and has 35 campsites for tents, trailers and RVs.
