France Park is a Cass County Park & Campground offering 200 campsites for tents, trailers and RVs in a wooded area just outside of Logansport. Approximately 67 of the sites are ‘primitive’ and the other 133 have electric hookups, a table, fire ring and grate.  Water hookups are also available for most of the ‘modern’ sites. The campground also has modern restrooms with flush toilets and showers, drinking water and a dump station.  There are also several playgrounds and a camp store that sells wood, ice, grocers, snacks, fishing and camping supplies.

The primitive campsites are first-come, first-served, and the modern campsites can be reserved by calling 574-753-2928.

France Park – Area Recreation & Activities

France Park has a variety of outdoor recreation including swimming and scuba diving in the crystal clear waters of Quarry Cliffs. Elzbeck Lake offers some nice fishing, canoeing, kayaking and boating (boat ramp available). There’s also a Frisbee golf and miniature golf course, as well as numerous mountain biking and hiking trails. And cross-country skiing is also popular in the winter months!

I have stayed overnight at France Park Campground on 4 separate occasions,or trips to and from Missouri to Michigan. That is 8 overnight stays.I am not sure what more one would need or want from a facility of this type.I look forward to getting there as it is very well run and a beautiful site.Scenic area, also.
