Beaver Dam Campground is located on the north shores of Upper Caney Lake in the Caney Lakes Recreation Area.  The campground is set among a beautiful forest of woods, lakes and hills. There are 29 large campsites and all have electric/water hookups, a campsite table and fire ring. The campground also a picnic area, dump station,  flush toilets and hot showers.  Firewood is also available for sale.

Outdoor activities include boating, fishing, water sports, hiking, mountain biking and wildlife viewing. The Sugar Cane Trail (5.7 miles) and the Los Man Loop (2 miles) are also nearby. Hiking and mountain biking are permitted on the trails. Cell service is fair in the area.

If you’re heading south, check out Chicot State Park down by Ville Platte. Caddo Lake State Park (TX) is also nice.
