October Mountain State Forest Campground has 44 single-family campsites (+3 Yurts) in a wooded area and next to October Mountain Reservoir.

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers, trash collection and an RV dump station. There’s also firewood available for sale from the camp host. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 34 feet). Each site also has a table, fire ring and gate.

October Mountain State Forest – Area Recreation

The area offers a variety of outdoor recreation including boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, hunting, OHVing, picnicking and wildlife viewing. You can also enjoy cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling during the winter season.
