Greenbelt Campground has 172 campsites and is located just 10 miles from the Washington Monument and other Washington D.C. attractions. The heavily forested campground and peaceful surroundings offers affordable camping and National Park Service hospitality. There’s also 9 miles of trails and 3 picnic areas.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailer and RV camping. Camp roads and parking spurs are paved. The B Loop can handle RV’s up to 30 feet and the D Loop up to 35 feet. Hookups are not available, but each site has a table, fire ring and grill. Group camping is also available. Campground amenities include drinking water, restrooms (flush toilets and showers), trash collection and a dump station. Cell coverage is good in the area.

Greenbelt Park – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation at the campground includes biking, hiking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Washington D.C. (10 miles) and the surrounding area also has many museums, historic sites and special events.
