Blackwoods Campground is located in Acadia National Park on the Maine coast and has 275 campsites (61 RV non-electric and 214 tent only). Group camping is also available
The campground has a dump station, flush toilets, hot showers and an amphitheater. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate. Cell service is fair in the area.
Our favorite Blackwoods campsites are: A Loop – 3, 14, 16, 21, 27, 61, 67, 88, 94, 96, 101, 110, 112, 121, 122, 123, 126, 133, 138, 141, 149, 150, and also B Loop – 4, 6, 15, 50, 59, 61, 79, 95, 100, 111 and 119.
Other Acadia National Park Campgrounds include Schoodic Woods, Seawall and Duck Harbor.
Acadia National Park Acadia is comprised of a cluster of islands on the Atlantic coast of Maine. Mountains, lakes, streams, wetlands, forests, meadows and beaches are all found within roughly 45,000 acres comprising Acadia. At Blackwoods, all sites are wooded and within a 10-minute walk of the ocean.
Outdoor recreation activities include hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, beachcombing, visiting historic sites, and narrated boat cruises. And there’s also a variety of wildlife to enjoy here!
